Founded by Frenchman Alexandre Darracq, the Italian luxury car manufacturer Alfa Rome first operated under the name “SAID” (Societa Anonima Italiana Darracq. Exclusively for Italy, the company produced and sold special models. Due to a lack of popularity, however, new cars were designed when Giuseppe Merosi was hired by the company in 1909. “Alpha” was founded as a new company in 1910. Involved in racing since 1911, the brand is known for sporty vehicles.
Max Hoffman imported Alfa Romeo to the United States in the mid-1950s. Regular exports of Alfa Romeos to the United States were occurring by 1961. The launch of a two-seater coupe, reportedly an affordable vehicle, marked a milestone for Alfa Romeo in 2014.

The Ugly Side: Common Alfa Romeo Car
While Alfa Romeo automobiles have been in existence for decades, and they have created some incredible race cars, their automobile line for the average person is not without its problems. Some of those are as follows:
Most common issue in the Alfa Romeo 159 is a door alignment problem. Do you feel a breeze coming in? Don’t be surprised. If you hear a knocking noise, it could be problems with the suspension. In fact, it might even fail if you don’t get it checked out.
Some Stelvio and Giulia 2018 and 2019 vehicles are being recalled due to a BCM (body control module) problem. Apparently reflecting a fuel level that is greater than the true amount of fuel in the vehicle, the BCM has shown a deficiency. Originating in August 2019, this is a very recent recall.
Once again, Alfa Romeo Stelvios (2018s) make the problematic list with corrosion being caused by water leaks into connectors and the body control module. This could lead to malfunctioning of the following natures: unintended turn signal activation, activation of the horn, loss of exterior lighting, windshield wiper malfunction, indicator lamp malfunction. Additionally, leakage may occur from the fuel system – possibly even a fire – as a result of a rubber fuel filler pipe becoming brittle.
Some Alfa Romeo Giulia 2017 to 2018 models may be at risk of fire due to brake fluid leaking into the exhaust. This has been caused by brake fluid coming into contact with a loose hose clamp.
Not to pick on just two vehicles, but once again we see the 2018 to 2019 Stelvio by Alfa Romeo. This time, the problem lies with the loss of coolant. A leak in the coolant system has been experienced by inadequate webbing material causing the vehicle to stall after overheating. This could cause a crash.
