Lexus is under the famous automaker Toyota, carrying luxury divisions for the car manufacturer. It is being sold in over 70 countries worldwide, and is recognized as Japan’s top seller of premium cars. Headquartered in Nagoya, Japan, it has operational centers in other parts of the world, such as Plano in Texas, USA and Brussels in Belgium.
It originated in 1983 from a corporate project that is seeking to develop the F1, a new premium sedan. From there, sedans, SUVs, coupes, and convertibles were added to its extensive luxury vehicle lineup.
