Maserati was established on December 1, 1914 in Bologna, Italy. With a tagline “Luxury, sports, and style cast in exclusive cars”, the Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer started to build a good reputation in the world of luxury vehicles.
Carrying the trident emblem, the company is currently headquartered in Modena. It was once owned by the Italian-American car manufacturer Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) since 1993. It was also closely linked to Ferrari, since the latter was also owned by FCA. Selling over 3,000 cars in just a month, the company was forced to increase its production of some of its popular models like the GranTurismo, Quattroporte, and Ghibli since 2014.
